Currently, we're looking for an QA Engineer that will set tailored goals to our development team and show individuals the way to self-develop and deliver effective service development for our clients. Maybe you’re the one?

What do you need to get this position?

Technically

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial software development projects
  • Experience with acceptance, exploratory and regression testing
  • Knowledge of DevTools
  • Experience with API testing: you can GET or POST data in Restful way using tools like Postman or Insomnia
  • Practice in writing clean bug reports and test cases
  • Ability to adapt to project needs and use right techniques depending on current priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • B2 + level of English
  • Fluency in issue management tools like Jira
  • Experience with using the test management tools (e.g. Zephyr, Testrail, qTest)
  • Technical debt, defect management
  • Experience with testing complex systems with external dependencies
  • Working with databases and related tools to ensure data quality
  • Basic knowledge of SQL to verify data integrity
  • Basic familiarity with Git (e.g. running jobs etc.)
  • Ability to read code and discuss the technical implementation with the frontend and backend developers
  • Proactive approach to identifying potential risks or improvements in testing processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about the business domain of the project.
  • Experience with dedicated tools for log analysis (e.g. Grafana)

Nice-to-haves

  • Working with the Quality Assurance metrics
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of Gherkin
  • Experience with defining and refining requirements, as well as identifying business and product goals
  • Experience with creating use case diagrams
  • A habit to regularly document processes and work
